The World Health Organisation recently declared the spread of COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, a pandemic, meaning the disease has spread rapidly around the globe.
The New Zealand Ministry of Health has set up a special Healthline call service offering coronavirus-related advice. If you’re concerned you have been exposed to the virus and may be experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever or a cough, call the following number:
- Call 0800 358 5453 if you suspect you may have contracted COVID-19.
