Investore Property overview and background

Investore Property Limited is a real estate investment company. It was established in 2015 following the acquisition of 19 Countdown supermarkets, and the company’s investment philosophy focuses on investing in large-format retail property assets.

Investore is managed by Stride Investment Management Limited and is a Listed Portfolio Investment Entity (PIE). Shares in Investore are listed on the NZX Main Board.

Performance and company results

In its FY21 financial results announcement, released in May 2021, Investore Property shared the following key figures:

  • Profit after income tax of $161.3 million (an increase of $132.6 million from FY20)
  • Net rental income of $55.8 million (an increase of $7.7 million)
  • Distributable profit after income tax of $29.1 million (an increase of $8 million)
  • NTA per share of $2.08 as at 31 March 2021 (an increase of 20.2%)
  • Annual cash dividend of 7.60 cents per share (same as FY20)
