Freightways overview and background

With origins dating back to 1964, Freightways is best known for its express package and business mail services. Its brands collect, sort and deliver approximately 200,000 items per day, and it also operates several brands in the network courier and point-to-point segments.

Freightways brands include New Zealand Couriers, Post Haste Couriers, Castle Parcels, NOW Couriers, SUB60, Kiwi Express, DX Mail and Dataprint.

Freightways was listed on the NZX in 2003 and is one of the 50 largest companies on the exchange. Headquartered in Penrose, Auckland, the company employs around 3,500 people.
