Types of plans offered by Nova Energy
Nova Energy has four plans to choose from. Three are available for customers who also sign up for energy at the same property, and one plan is available for anyone.
The TV Bundle plan has a 24-month term, It’s available with ADSL, VDSL or Fibre 100, and has unlimited data. You must sign up for a fixed-term energy plan for the same timeframe. If you have either electricity or gas you’ll get a 43-inch LG Smart TV, and if you have both electricity and gas you’ll get a 50-inch LG Smart TV.
The Super WiFi plan is for 24-months and comes with unlimited data on Fast Fibre 200. You must also join Nova Energy for energy, and you’ll get two Plume Superpods.
The last plan on offer from Nova Energy that doesn’t require you to also join for energy is the Freedom plan. This gives you unlimited data on ADSL, VDSL or Fibre 100, with no term or termination fees.
With every plan you’ll get a NetComm modem delivered for free.
Are there any bundled extras with Nova Energy?
If you’re after a landline, Nova Energy can supply you with a VoIP home phone. For $10 a month, you can use this for calls to New Zealand landlines and you’ll get twin cordless handsets.
Calling packages are also available. For $10 a month you can choose either calls to New Zealand mobiles or international landlines.
- Unlimited data. All NovaEnergy broadband plans come with unlimited data, so you don’t need to worry about sticking within a capped limit each month.
- Keep your utilities on one bill. By having your broadband and energy bills with one provider, you’ll have fewer bills to worry about each month.
- Sign up bonuses. When you sign up for broadband and an energy plan, you can enjoy a sign up bonus of a new TV, account credit or Plume Superpods.
Watch out for
- You can only take advantage of Nova Energy’s offer plans if you sign up for energy as well.
- If you don’t have fibre installed, Nova Energy will connect you to the best available connection type at your house.
Nova Energy Broadband summary
Nova Energy broadband is worth considering if you are looking to keep your energy and broadband plans in one place. By signing up to a fixed term of 12 or 24 months and moving your electricity and/or gas over, you can take advantage of one of the awesome sign-up deals.
