New Smashbox Petal Metal collection is a rose gold dream

Amanda Swan 7 May 2018 NEWS

The latest Smashbox collaboration with makeup artist Vlada Haggerty is available now.

Rose gold is the hottest tone of the 2010s. From iPhones to wedding bands, rose gold hues are everywhere, and we’re not mad about it. Popular makeup brand Smashbox’s latest project with makeup artist Vlada Haggerty is called Petal Metal, and it’s the prettiest rose gold collection of the season. You can buy it right now from Sephora, but hurry as this limited-edition collection is sure to sell out quick.

Curious about the face behind the collection? If you don’t know her, Vlada Haggerty is an LA-based makeup artist and photographer. She’s the Lip Editor in Chief for Smashbox, and her adorable and quirky style has earned her more than 815K Instagram followers, a number that’s growing every single day. We aren’t surprised at all that Vlada has gifted us with such a beautiful rose gold collection because it meshes perfectly with her amazing sense of personal style.

The collection itself features a highlighter, an eyeshadow palette, a liquid eyeliner, a liquid lipstick and a primer. It also features some items that are a little more out of left field, like two liquid solutions dubbed Shimmer Drops and Shimmer Spray, and Swarovski eyeliner jewels. The entire collection is priced affordably for a luxury brand like Smashbox; nothing costs more than $50.

We love the metallic boldness of the Petal Metal selection. It gives us everything we love about rose gold’s femininity and sparkle with a modern edge. And the designs pressed into each compact are seriously beautiful, like a miniature work of art. Don’t miss out on this gorgeous collection, available now at Sephora. And if you’re obsessed with everything beauty, don’t forget to check out our favorite product finds of the week.
