What is Neutrino USD?
Neutrino is an algorithmic price-stabilization protocol that enables the creation of stable coins tied to real-world assets or cryptocurrency. The Neutrino protocol is deployed on the WAVES blockchain, and aims to create a cross chain ecosystem involving DeFi, stablecoins, overcollateralized pegs, and a governance model. USDN is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 with the US dollar, and is collateralized by the WAVES token. Originally, 1 trillion USDN assets were issued and locked in the contract with no ability to issue additional amounts. However, nobody, including the development team, has access to these locked tokens. The only way to unlock USDN is by swapping WAVES tokens. The Neutrino protocol has built an interesting extension, with its DeFi platform, on which users can instantly swap stablecoins of the most popular national currencies, with USDN at its center.
