Is the Microsoft Black Friday sale only online?

Microsoft hasn’t announced if Black Friday sales will take place in stores this year. That said, the retailer has a history of offering some of its biggest Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings online, so you don’t have to brave the crowds to snag some of the season’s hottest tech gifts.

And keep in mind the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released guidelines that deem shopping in crowded malls in the days around Thanksgiving a high-risk activity for the spread of COVID-19. Shopping online is your best bet to get the best deals without the risk.

When can I start shopping?

There are early deals going on right now! Official Black Friday sales usually kick off at midnight on Thanksgiving Day. The company typically has great deals all through Cyber Weekend and into Cyber Monday, so keep your eyes peeled as the week goes on.

Microsoft Cyber Monday

Microsoft usually extends its Black Friday sale right into Cyber Monday, so you can find many of the same ultra-low prices on laptops, desktops, gaming systems and more.

Some deals are one-day-only deals that’ll be gone as quickly as they came, so you won’t want to dawdle on these. They’ll be marked with a yellow tag online to let you know you have limited time to snap them up.
