Hero is the native cryptocurrency of the Metahero project. Metahero is a blockchain-based Web 3.0 and metaverse ecosystem that was launched on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain.
The project is focused on 3D-scanning technology and how that can be integrated into NFT smart contracts for the creation of metaverse-based avatars and objects. As per the whitepaper, the protocol is capable of generating ultra-realistic 3D avatars and virtual items that can later be deployed across different video games, VR platforms, and social media environments.
Metahero’s 3D scanning technology, which is created in conjunction with Wolf Studios, can scan any object or person in the real world. This scanning takes place within Metahero’s photogrammetry 3D scanner which consists of 4 cameras and 64 devices that together create the perfect image. This data can then be translated into NFT form enabling users to create exceptionally life-like and realistic NFT tokens. Using this technology, Metahero plans to build an NFT marketplace that will allow companies and individuals to take advantage of what the NFT and metaverse ecosystem has to offer. It is Metahero’s aim to establish 3D scanning chambers at strategic locations all around the world that can then be used to encourage metaverse adoption. HERO is the native token of the Metahero project. The coin must be held by users that wish to access 3D scanning chambers and generate a 3D NFT. To access a scanning chamber a user must hold a required amount of HERO tokens inside the Metahero app. In addition to accessing scanning chambers, HERO tokens can be used to transact on the Metahero NFT marketplace and pay for NFT royalties.
