Uber Eats might not be able to deliver all 600 types to your doorstep, but 50 Madison-area restaurants have partnered up to make their full menus available to delivery customers. Madison is the second city in Wisconsin to get the app service and delivery for Uber Eats started on September 21, 2017.

How do I become a Uber Eats delivery driver in Madison?

There are three ways to become an Uber Eats driver in Madison. You can use a car, a bike or a scooter.

Drive with Uber Eats

If you want to drive, you must:

  • Be at least 19 years old
  • Have a car less than 20 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and car insurance
  • Have a minimum of one year’s experience driving a car.

You are paid for picking up orders, dropping them off and for the mileage driven between the restaurant — Uber Eats takes a 25% cut from these fees

Scooter with Uber Eats

If you wish to deliver on a scooter you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid drivers license, vehicle registration and insurance

Bike with Uber Eats

If you wish to deliver on a bike:

  • You must own your own bike
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to lift 30 pounds

You also must have the stamina to ride your bike to and from delivery points around the city.
