Loom & Leaf mattress features

What are the mattresses made of?

The Loom & Leaf mattress is made of multiple layers of memory foam, including a breathable and supportive base layer, five pounds of eco-friendly, American-made foam and cooling spinal gel-infused foam on top. The mattress is covered by an organic cotton covering and uses a natural thistle flame retardant.

Do I need a box spring?

No. But you can use a box spring if you’d like.

How many years does a Loom & Leaf last?

Loom & Leaf offers a 15-year non-prorated warranty. But our mattress research indicates that the average foam mattress lasts anywhere from six to 10 years before it needs replacing.

Can I rotate or flip the Loom & Leaf mattress?

While you shouldn’t flip your Loom & Leaf because of the way that its layers are constructed, you can rotate it from head to toe to help it wear evenly.

Why should I shop at Loom & Leaf?

Pros

  • Free delivery and mattress removal. Loom & Leaf delivers and sets up your new mattress — plus takes away your old bed and foundation — at no additional charge.
  • 120-night trial. Take time to try out your new mattress, foundation or frame before claiming it as your own.
  • Top-notch service. Online reviews for this company rave about its excellent customer support team, even when returning your mattress.

Cons

  • $99 return transportation fee. Unlike other bed-in-a-box companies, returns aren’t free with Loom & Leaf.

Is Loom & Leaf better than Casper?

Loom & Leaf and Casper both make premium memory foam mattresses, although Casper also offers a hybrid option.

In terms of price, Loom & Leaf fits smack in the middle of Casper’s Original Casper and Wave mattresses. So if you’re looking for a mid-range foam bed, Loom & Leaf could be a home run. If you’re looking for a cheaper option, Casper’s Essential model is worth a peek.

Loom & Leaf comes with a longer warranty – 15 years compared to Casper’s 10. You’ll also get an extra 20 days to try out your mattress with Loom & Leaf.

Should I get a Loom & Leaf mattress?

Look to Loom & Leaf if you’re in the market for a mid-range foam mattress with firmness options and perks like free white glove delivery and mattress removal.

If you’re not yet convinced, compare top online mattress brands to help you find the just-right bed for you.
