InsureTech Connect: The insurance convention for the digital age
How technology is poised to change the future of the industry
At InsureTech Connect, industry experts discuss advances in the industry brought on by technology and confront the challenges that come with a changing landscape. Its outcomes have motivated the industry to embrace a range of assistive technology, from telematics devices that track driver behavior to driverless car technology.
“Change is a constant in today’s insurance landscape and the pace is quickening every day,” says Zac Overbay, COO, Woodruff Sawyer, in a recent InsureTech Connect press release. “Navigating the ground between the innovation mindset and innovation execution is now critical for preparing for tomorrow.”
InsureTech Connect targets insurance specialists in property and casualty, health, life, business and specialty insurance. These experts are expected to mingle with more than 7,000 CEOs, entrepreneurs, investors and other insurance experts from 60 countries worldwide. 2019 is shaping up to be the biggest event yet, with a big jump from last year’s 5,000 headcount and 2017’s 1,000 attendees.
Key 2019 sponsors and attendees include big names like Allstate, Berkshire Hathaway, Citibank, Progressive and Zurich, plus tech-focused newcomers like Hippo, Bold Penguin, Coverhound and Ladder. Speakers represent companies from both ends of the tech and insurance industries, from Google and Udotest to Barclays and Porsche.
The three-day event starts with extended pre-conference workshops designed to tackle a digital-first future, the customer journey and other in-depth topics. The conference starts on Monday with Agency Connect, a ticketed series of forums designed for the agency and broker community to discuss the benefits and challenges of technology trends in the wider insurance industry and share their unique responses and adaptations.
Tuesday starts a schedule packed with all-star speakers and the opening of the expo booths. Attendees have plenty of pathways and workshops to choose from, according to their interests. The conference closes out on Wednesday with yet more workshops and extra networking at a closing reception and after-party.
This world event is hosted at MGM Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino from Monday, September 23, to Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Early-bird tickets are available for $1,495 before Friday September 6th with the exclusive link on Finder.com, increasing to $1,695 before the first day of the conference.
