You’ve signed up for your one-week free trial and decided Disney+ wasn’t for you. That’s fine, but now before you depart Disney+ remember that it owns its entire content library. So unlike Netflix and Prime Video whose TV shows and movies come and go, Disney’s will remain.

Here are the steps to cancel your Disney+ subscription:

Step 1: Log in to Disney+

Head to the Disney+ official website on your laptop or PC. Next you’ll have to log in with your username and password. You’ll then see your Disney+ profile in the top right corner of your screen. Click the user icon that says “Profile”.

Step 2: Select account

Click on “Account” in the dropdown menu. From here you’ll see your account details and another section titled subscription. Here you have to click on “Billing details”.

Step 3: Cancel subscription

On this screen you will see your subscription details, next billing date and payment method. To the side of your next billing date is “Cancel Subscription” which you will click through on.

Step 4: Confirm cancellation and cut-off date

Now you’re given all the final details before cancelling your account. You’ll be notified your cancellation will take effect once you’ve reached the end of your current billing period. Click on the big red button that says “COMPLETE CANCELLATION”.
