What is Hxro?

Hxro (pronounced “Hero”) is a crypto platform that gamifies crypto trading with its own token HXRO. It was launched in January 2019, offering its flagship product MoonRekt. Currently, it offers one game on its platform where players can bet on whether the BTC price will go up (MOON) or go down (REKT) over a five-minute time interval. The platform uses the MoonRekt technology and offers a perpetual digital derivatives market where a new card is available every five minutes, allowing players/users to interact with the market and trade or hedge risks on their crypto assets. Based on the pari-mutuel payoff mechanism, the game provides an array of payoff possibilities available to the user base. So if the price of BTC goes up by a cent at the end of one interval, then all the winners (in-the-money) at the time of expiration, or everyone on the MOON side, gets to share the HXRO placed on the REKT side (out-of-money). The HXRO token is an ERC-20 token that's primarily used as a full utility gaming credit to enter and participate in the game.

Hxro (HXRO) is the 253rd largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap, valued at $132,004,889. The current price of Hxro is $0.520854, which is 5.407% higher than yesterday. What to consider when buying Hxro

While cryptocurrencies are often lucrative investment opportunities due to their quick price movements, it's very important for you to understand all the risks involved before investing in a particular crypto asset. Here's what you should keep in mind before you buy HXRO:
  • Supply: The total supply of HXRO is capped at 1.575 billion HXRO tokens, of which 325 million tokens are locked up indefinitely. As per data from CoinMarketCap as of the date of writing (May 4 2021), 224,693,272 coins are currently in circulation. At present, HXRO trades on Binance, Bittrex, CoinFalcon, Mercatox, Poloniex, Paxful and IDEX.
  • Safe bets: The concept of the game is based on the price movement of cryptocurrency and mass psychology. When you want to place your bets on a card, you can only see how much HXRO is in the pool, but not on which side of the pool (MOON or REKT). However, you can see bets on each side on prior cards, which would give you a sense of where the majority of winning bets are going to lie for the current card, so you may end up with a safe bet. The only drawback with being on the safe side is that your share of the winnings becomes less as the pool of people on that side becomes bigger.
  • Governance: All decisions regarding the platform related to updates, fees, rewards and incentives are made by the HXRO team. This results in the governance being centralized in an ecosystem where decentralization is highly valued and revered.
