What is Ethernity Chain?
Ethernity Chain is a platform focused on the production and distribution of limited edition authenticated non-fungible tokens (NFTs). NFTs are digital tokens that represent a collectible. Collectibles can range from digital art and music to physical objects such as trading cards. The authenticated NFTs on Ethernity Chain are better known as aNFTs. According to the Ethernity Chain website, all aNFTs are authenticated by intellectual property holders of the collectible. Ethernity Chain believes authentication is crucial to ensure all NFT collectibles are genuine. When an artist produces a digital asset or artwork, the work then gets authenticated by an icon and becomes an aNFT. Buyers can then purchase limited editions of aNFTs via auctions or direct sales. The platform also focuses on collaborating with artists to contribute to charitable causes where possible. ERN is the Ethernity platform’s utility token. Token holders are eligible to bid on and purchase aNFTs, stake their tokens in the Ethernity platform, farm for rewards and participate in virtual and real-world events. All aNFTs on the Ethernity platform are priced in ERN. For every transaction, a portion of the money goes to charities and ERN holders. 75% of all tokens are kept in a recycled reserve for 2 years.
Ethernity Chain (ERN) is the 417th largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap, valued at $115,682,542. The current price of Ethernity Chain is $10.22, which is -8.093% lower than yesterday. Prices have ranged between $11.74 and $10.21 over the past 24 hours. All prices are listed in US dollars and accurate as of October 27, 2021 12:10 UTC.

What to consider when buying Ethernity ChainInvesting in an altcoin such as ERN carries high risks that should be evaluated thoroughly. Here are some of the factors to consider before purchasing ERN:
- Purchasing aNFTs. ERN tokens can be used to purchase aNFTs on Ethernity Chain’s marketplace. Each digital artwork and collectible on the platform is authenticated to protect consumers from buying counterfeit objects. One artist that is already working with Ethernity Chain is the digital graphic design specialist, BossLogic.
- NFT farming. Token holders are eligible to stake ERN to receive STONES, which provide users with exclusive access to selected NFTs.
- Tokenomics. The maximum supply of ERN is capped at 30 million. At the time of writing, the current circulating supply is 9.9 million. 75% of all transaction fees are automatically locked in a reserve smart contract for 2 years. These funds are then awarded to ERN stakers. This mechanism gives the token deflationary characteristics.
- Charitable causes. The Ethernity Chain platform makes it easier for artists to support charitable causes. Artists using the Ethernity Chain platform can pledge a portion of the revenue from an aNFT sale to a charity they choose. This may help to promote the adoption of the platform in the future.
