H&M wedding looks help brides save on a perfect dress
If you’re walking down the aisle in 2018, consider shopping for your dress at H&M.
You might have heard that H&M is offering great clearance deals right now, but did you know that the brand just announced its wedding collection for 2018? With the average bride spending around $1,500.00 for a dress on her big day, we’re relieved to see companies like H&M offering great deals on wedding dresses.
In a press release, H&M reported that “the collection includes our modern, wedding-approved dresses specially designed for brides, bridesmaids, and guests,” which is great news for those of us who have already walked down the aisle and need to find the perfect wedding guest dress. H&M promises that “guests can be party ready for any occasion in fancy florals and pretty pastel hues.”
And for the star of the show? TH&M reveals that “the bride can choose from short and fun frocks and fluid silhouettes featuring lavish lace.” This is a fun and modern take on traditional bridal wear, and one of the gowns even looks just like Pippa Middleton’s wedding dress.
Dresses in the new bridal collection are a bit more expensive than typical H&M garb, but the company says that these items are higher quality than its everyday streetwear. Looks from the H&M bridal shop range from around $100.00 all the way up to $300.00. Although this is expensive for H&M, it’s a steal for a wedding dress. Some bridesmaid and guest looks are available for even less, at prices closer to $50.00.
A drawback to the new bridal collection? It’s only available in limited sizes. The women’s dresses are offered only in standard sizes 2-16, with no options for petite or plus sized women. However, there are a few options for flower girls that are available in children’s sizes.
If you’re ready to plan for something a little skimpier than the dress, H&M also has a beautiful collection of bridal lingerie that would make a perfect gift for any bachelorette party.
