Happsy mattress features

What’s the mattress made of?

Happsy’s mission is to provide a clean, natural alternative to synthetic mattresses that may use chemicals in the manufacturing process. As a result, the Happsy mattress is made of certified organic materials, arranged in layers.

  1. The supportive base layer consists of eight inches of pocketed springs.
  2. Next is two inches of organic latex for added comfort and responsiveness.
  3. The mattress is topped with built-in organic wool batting and covered with an organic cotton cover.

The Happsy mattress does not contain glues, adhesives, polyurethane foam or flame retardants. But don’t worry — it still meets all flammability requirements using natural barriers.

Do I need a box spring?

No. But you can use one if that’s what you already have. The Happsy mattress can be placed on any flat surface, as long as the slats on platform beds are no more than three inches apart.

How many years does a Happsy mattress last?

Happsy offers a 20-year prorated warranty on its mattresses. For the first 10 years, the company will replace or repair your mattress due to problems that are covered under warranty.

So you can expect your mattress to last around 10 years, which is the average lifespan for a typical mattress.

Can I rotate or flip the Happsy mattress?

You don’t need to rotate or flip the Happsy mattress. But the company does say that you may want to reposition, flip or rotate the latex layer after years of use. To do this, simply unzip the cover, remove the top latex layer and replace in its new position.

Shipping and delivery

Does Happsy offer a trial period?

Yes! Try your new bed for 120 nights before deciding if you want to keep it. This same trial period applies to all Happsy products, not just mattresses.

What’s Happsy’s return policy?

Happsy recommends that you try its mattress and other products for at least 30 days before deciding whether or not they’re right for you. You have until day 120 to request a return on any of the brand’s products.

Are Happsy returns free?

Yes! Returns made within the 120-day trial period are always free.

How do I return items to Happsy?

Contact Happsy customer service to arrange a pickup date and time for your mattress. It will be donated to a local charity or recycled. For all non-mattress items like pillows and sheets, contact customer service to request a free prepaid return shipping label.

How can I track my order?

Look for an email from Happsy with tracking information once your order ships. Most orders ship within two to three business days and arrive within five to seven days.

How can I contact customer support?

The easiest and quickest way to contact customer service is to call 844-742-7779. You can also fill out its online contact form or send a message through Facebook Messenger. The company usually responds within a day.

What sets this brand apart?

Happsy offers a clean, natural bed-in-a-box option that doesn’t contain foam, glue, formaldehyde or chemical flame retardants. Instead, this mattress is made of 100% certified organic materials, according to Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Greenguard Gold standards. All of this brand’s non-mattress items, including pillows, sheets and mattress toppers, are also 100% certified organic and free of added dyes.

What do people say about this brand?

Since Happsy is a newcomer to the online mattress space, reviews are limited. But the majority of customers who left reviews on Amazon for this mattress are happy with their new non-toxic bed. Lots of customers say their Happsy mattress is high-quality, supportive and not too firm. But for some sleepers, Happsy wasn’t firm enough.

Across the board, Happsy customers seem to be pleased with the customer service they received, even when making a return.

Why should I shop at Happsy?

Pros

  • Free shipping and returns. Customers in the continental US won’t pay a penny for delivery or to return an order if it doesn’t work out.
  • 120-night trial. Test out your mattress, foundation, sheets, pillows and all other Happsy products before committing to them.
  • 100% certified organic materials. All Happsy products are made with certified organic materials free of adhesives, added dyes and toxic chemicals.

Cons

  • Only one firmness option. Some customers say that Happsy isn’t firm enough for their preferences.

Is Happsy better than Zenhaven?

Happsy and Zenhaven mattresses are both made of natural latex and marketed as cleaner options than some traditional foam beds. Happsy contains a natural latex layer and a pocketed spring base, while Zenhaven is made of two layers of natural latex and lacks springs. This design may make Happsy slightly bouncier and softer than Zenhaven.

Happsy is the more affordable option, priced at $1,399 for a queen compared to Zenhaven’s $1,899. If you’re looking for a softer feel at a more budget-friendly price, Happsy could be a good choice.

Should I get a Happsy mattress?

Consider buying a Happsy mattress if you’re in the market for a nontoxic, 100% certified organic bed that’s on the affordable side. If you’re still on the fence, we recommend comparing a few top mattress brands before springing for a new mattress.
