GameZone is a blockchain-based gaming platform, a sector that has exploded in recent times on the back of successful games like Axie Infinity. However, many of these popular games suffer from issues with centralisation and whales simply being able to outspend competitors, making them unfair and imbalanced for regular gamers.
Recognising this, GameZone intends to rectify this by being a launchpad for new, blockchain-based games that lets everyday investors access game currencies before they’re released.
Another key element of GameZone is its cross-chain capabilities. When blockchain gaming first came into fruition, applications were typically built exclusively on Ethereum. However, DeFi is constantly evolving and blockchains like Solana, Polygon and Avalanche have all begun hosting games. GameZone wants to operate almost like a season pass that grants you access to all games, across all blockchains.
GZONE is the token native to the GameZone ecosystem. The platform utilises a tier-based system, which is kind of like a subscription service – but instead of paying a monthly fee, you can access different tiers by staking certain amounts of GZONE. Stakers are also rewarded for locking up their tokens.
