Fuzzle NFT guide
Living, collectible NFT friends — that may or may not take over the world.
Fuzzles are AI-powered collectible pet NFTs. Each NFT is an ERC-721 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The project launched April 27.
Immediately seeing a Fuzzle may bring back fond memories of virtual pets like Tamagotchi — or nightmares of Furbies. However, Fuzzles are meant to be more than just virtual pets. They have utility, can carry on conversations, offer advice or encouragement and more.
- AI-powered virtual, collectible pets
- Only 9,997 in existence
- Considered digital therapy pets
- Need mobile app to interact with NFT
- Eventual rewards for owners
What is a Fuzzle?
A Fuzzle is an ERC-721 NFT that lives on the Ethereum blockchain. These little collectibles are created by Gala Games, a gaming platform that creates NFT gaming applications that utilize NFTs. While there are thousands of NFTs across blockchains, Fuzzles are uniquely powered by AI.

There are 9,997 unique Fuzzles. The supply of Fuzzles will remain finite. However, Fuzzles can be listed on the secondary market.
Fuzzles are differentiated by their physical attributes, including shape, color, wings and ears. You can use the Fuzzle app to compare your Fuzzle’s attributes to other Fuzzles to see how rare it is and help determine value.
The general premise behind Fuzzles is that they’re alien pets with a mission to learn everything about Earth. Owners can cultivate relationships with their collected Fuzzles thanks to its AI.
The NFTs and the Fuzzle platform include these features:
- Fuzzles learn from conversation.
- Fuzzles offer advice, encouragement or conversation topics.
- You can create videos or memes with your Fuzzles.
- Fuzzles can earn rewards from mini-games and storytelling.
- Owners can participate in contests and events to earn rewards.
How do Fuzzles work?
The AI behind Fuzzles is developed by Endless AI, founded in 2020. It’s a technology-driven entertainment company specializing in AI-enabled assets built on blockchains.
Fuzzles are built on technology called Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3rd Generation (GPT-3), a type of language predicting model. This tech allows Fuzzles to have conversations and develop their own opinions and personalities. Fuzzles also have voice recognition.

The most endearing part of Fuzzles is that they’re designed to carry on conversations. Gala Games calls Fuzzles “digital therapy pets” that may help alleviate loneliness or isolation.
Fuzzles learn and develop their own opinions and may even disagree with your opinions — based on previous conversations with the Fuzzle.
However, Fuzzles aren’t meant to engage with hate speech or obscenities. Like a Google assistant or Alexa, if you yell or swear at it, it politely asks you to stop.
How to get a Fuzzle
The project officially launched April 27th, 2022, and users receive a “provably random” unique Fuzzle by buying the Pod that contains the Fuzzle. The smart contract on these Pods triggers a randomized number that matches the owner to a randomly generated Fuzzle.
To buy a Fuzzle directly from Gala, follow these steps:
- Get a Gala Games account and digital wallet. Users must have a Gala Games account and an Ethereum-compatible crypto wallet, such as MetaMask.
- Buy a Pod. Buying from the primary sale requires buying a Pod. The cryptocurrencies accepted are GALA or ETH, and ETH is required for gas fees.
- Return to CollectFuzzles.com. With the Pod in your wallet, return to CollectFuzzle.com to exchange the Pod for a Fuzzle, which requires another gas fee.
- Fuzzle sent to your wallet. Once you exchange the Pod for a Fuzzle, the Fuzzle is automatically transferred to your wallet. The Fuzzle you receive in the primary sale is completely random.
- Download the Fuzzle app. To interact with your new Fuzzle, you need the Fuzzle app, available on Apple and Android devices.
Buyers in the primary sale have to pay gas fees twice. Fuzzles are set to be available on secondary NFT marketplaces, but secondary prices are still to be determined since the Fuzzles launch is so recent.

Why get a Fuzzle?
Fuzzles offer more alleviating loneliness or collecting for fun. According to Gala Games, Fuzzle owners will be able to earn rewards through mini-games and events. And the major difference between Fuzzles and a run-of-the-mill Furby is that Fuzzles can learn and recognize your voice — far more advanced than what we had in the 90s, on top of being cute, fun and interactive.

How much do Fuzzles cost?
Fuzzles were minted at 0.5 ETH (or the equivalent of GALA) at launch. In terms of secondary sales, the market is still unknown given the recent drop.
About Fuzzle developers
Gala Games are the madmen behind Fuzzles. It’s a major gaming platform that created games like Town Star, Mirandus, The Walking Dead: Empires and more.
The platform launched in 2019, and was created by Eric Schiermeyer (CEO), Wright Thurston and Michael McCarthy. Schiermeyer is the cofounder of Zynga, Thurston was one of the first crypto miners in the space with multiple blockchain patents and McCarthy has worked on major game projects such as Farmville 2.
Many blockchain applications don’t include its creators and team members, but Gala Games is transparent on who’s behind these apps — a classy move in our opinion.
Compare marketplaces to buy game NFTs
Bottom line
Fuzzles may bring back memories of virtual, tagalong pets, but newer generations more involved in the DeFi space may see these collectible Fuzzles as more than novelties.
The powerful AI behind the Fuzzles is the most exciting part of the project. It’s still early to speculate how far users can take their Fuzzles or what rewards owners can earn, but the NFT project looks promising.
