Our crypto prediction panel turns bearish overall on six popular cryptocurrencies through the week of May 23.
Bitcoin failed to hold above $30,000 and dropped to new lows this year at $25,800. This opens the way toward $21,000 in the weeks to come. Inflation numbers came out higher than expected, which puts even more pressure on most cryptocurrencies.
Finder’s crypto prediction panel turned slightly bearish on Bitcoin in the most recent survey looking out through the week of May 23.
Finder’s cryptocurrency prediction panel comprises 15 experts in the field. Each week, five of them rotate to share their predictions for the following two weeks on six major cryptocurrencies.

The panel’s outlook on Bitcoin (BTC) is slightly bearish, a change from the week before when it was slightly bullish. Bitcoin now trades below $30,000 with the potential of going lower.
The panel’s verdict on Ethereum (ETH) is bearish, a change from the week before when it was slightly bearish. Ether fell below $2,000. It has to return back above this number if we are to see some recovery in the short term.
The panel’s outlook on Dogecoin (DOGE) is bearish, a change from the week before when it was slightly bearish. DOGE broke its $0.125 support price and fell as low as $0.07. A bounce off of this price zone is possible.
The panel’s prediction on Litecoin (LTC) is very bearish, a change from the week before when it was bearish. LTC traded as low as $52, slightly above a major support price at $50. Similar to most altcoins, the direction next would be likely dictated by Bitcoin.

The panel’s verdict on Solana (SOL) is bearish, a change from the week before when it was slightly bearish. Solana traded as low as $35. It has to get back above $50 if we are to see some recovery. Otherwise, $25 may well be the next target.
