Pros and cons
- Large selection. Outfit the whole family in sweet specs all in one place.
- Use your vision benefits. Eyeconic accepts VSP, MetLife and Cigna vision plans, and you can connect your benefits to minimize out-of-pocket costs. If you have a different insurance provider, Eyeconic can help you file out-of-network claim forms.
- Virtual try-on. Using your webcam or camera-equipped smartphone to easily find the perfect frames for your face.
- Limited insurance acceptance. If you don’t have vision insurance with VSP, MetLife or Cigna, you’ll likely pay more up front and file an out-of-network claim with your provider.
- Potentially high costs. While it offers discounts, Eyeconic’s designer eyeglass frames come with designer prices.
If you’re looking for a new eye doctor or want to shop for new lenses or glasses with a current prescription, Eyeconic makes it easy to do it all in one place.
Find a local optometrist or ophthalmologist from among its network of 40,000 doctors. Once you have your new prescription, upload it to the website, connect your vision benefits, find your new glasses or contacts and have them shipped to your door. Better vision made simple.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my insurance plan’s “second pair benefit” with Eyeconic?
No. But you can order additional glasses and then submit your purchase for out-of-network reimbursement.
How does Eyeconic’s price-matching program work?
If you find a lower price with another authorized online retailer, contact Eyeconic during customer service hours either before your purchase or within 30 days after. Record the website URL or take a screenshot of the lower price to share.
If your price match is approved, Eyeconic honors your request prior to checkout. If you’ve already made your purchase, you’re refunded the difference.
What if my lenses or glasses go on sale after I’ve purchased them?
Contact Eyeconic for a price adjustment. You have 30 days to request a refund for the difference between what you paid and what Eyeconic is now selling the item for.
