What does DreamCloud carry?

Mattresses

DreamCloud specializes in a single luxury hybrid mattress, and that’s exactly what you’ll find on its site. Unlike many other online mattresses out there, DreamCloud combines layers of memory foam, latex, cashmere tufting and coil technology — all wrapped up in eight cloud-like layers.

Prices and payment

The DreamCloud luxury hybrid mattress ranges from $599 for a twin to $1,299 for a California king.

Pay for your order with any major credit card. DreamCloud’s checkout page is secure, so you can enter sensitive information safely.

Does DreamCloud offer financing?

Yes. Choose the Affirm payment option at checkout to apply for financing.

If you’re approved, you could get anywhere from 0% to 30% APR over three to 24 months. Be aware that a down payment may be required.

Features of a DreamCloud mattress

What is it made of?

DreamCloud is made of eight layers of various materials, including four types of memory foam, natural latex and patent-pending pocketed micro coils. According to its website, DreamCloud is considered “luxury firm” and clocks in at a 6.5 on a firmness scale of 1 to 10.

Do you need a box spring?

You don’t need a box spring, but you can use one if that’s what you currently have. DreamCloud can be used on just about any solid surface. Keep in mind that this is a 15-inch mattress, so it might sit considerably higher on your frame or foundation than your current bed.

Note that using your mattress on the floor without a base or foundation may void your warranty.

How many years does a DreamCloud mattress last?

DreamCloud mattresses come with a lifetime warranty, but our research shows that hybrid mattresses usually last from six to 10 years.

DreamCloud’s Everlong Warranty covers sagging and impressions in your mattress greater than 1.5 inches deep.

Can I rotate or flip the DreamCloud mattress?

No. DreamCloud does not advise flipping its mattress, because its layers are in a specific order.

But rotating your mattress head to toe when you change your bedding can help it wear more evenly.

Shipping and delivery

Can I get free delivery?

Yes, shipping is free to the continental US.

Does DreamCloud offer a trial period?

Yes, DreamCloud offers a 365-day risk-free trial on its mattresses. If you’re not having sweet dreams at any point in the first year, return your mattress for a full refund.

There’s also a 100-day trial for all of its bed frames and foundations.

What’s DreamCloud’s return policy?

Take a full year to test out your new mattress for the perfect fit. If it’s not, contact customer service to arrange a pickup date and time for free. Don’t worry about hanging onto your box or other packaging.

Are DreamCloud returns free?

Yes. All returns are free, as long as you’re still within the 365-day trial window for mattresses or the 100-day trial window for foundations and bases.

How do I return items to DreamCloud?

Contact DreamCloud customer service through live chat or call 888-992-5791 to request a return of your mattress or bed frame. Someone will come out to pick up your item for free.

Shipping costs

Shipping is free to the continental US. A $150 shipping fee applies on orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive an email notification when your order ships with a FedEx Ground tracking number. Deliveries usually take one to five business days, but DreamCloud will notify you if there’s a delay.

What sets this brand apart?

DreamCloud is focused on offering a luxury hybrid option to set it apart from the many foam mattresses available online. This mattress is several inches thicker than most other options out there, plus it has a dreamy cashmere and wool cover. Its 365-night risk-free trial and lifetime warranty are two perks that make it stand out from the competition.

What do people really say about DreamCloud?

Online reviewers seem to love DreamCloud’s luxury hybrid mattress. Of course, because this brand hasn’t been around as long as some competitors, you won’t find quite as many reviews to read.

That said, negative comments are few and far between. Two main concerns about the mattress are that there’s only one firmness level, and it’s not the best support for people who weigh over 300 pounds. On its Facebook page, a few customers also mention problems with delayed deliveries.

How can I contact customer support?

Contact DreamCloud’s sleep concierge team by calling 833-237-3269 any day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT, emailing shop@dreamcloudsleep.com or chatting with a rep online. We asked a question through live chat and received a nearly instant response.

Why should I shop at DreamCloud?

Pros

  • Free shipping and returns. Shipping within the continental US is free, and returns are always free — no matter where you live.
  • 365-night trial. Test out your new mattress for a full year before deciding if it’s right for you.
  • Lifetime warranty. If your mattress ever breaks from normal wear and tear, DreamCloud will replace it at no cost to you — it doesn’t matter if you’ve had it for 100 days or 100 years.

Cons

  • Only one firmness option. If you’re picky about the firmness of your mattress, take advantage of DreamCloud’s 365-night trial period because it only comes in one firmness level.
  • Complaints of delayed deliveries. A few customers that left Facebook reviews mentioned their mattress took way too long to arrive.

Is DreamCloud better than Leesa?

Leesa’s Sapira model is a hybrid mattress similar to the DreamCloud. Both mattresses contain a combination of memory foam and pocketed coils, although the DreamCloud option includes a latex layer and is four inches thicker than the Sapira.

The Sapira will cost you a bit more than the DreamCloud — about $400 more for a queen — and you only have 100 days to try it out, comparedt with DreamCloud’s 365-day trial. However, Leesa ships for free to all 50 states, while Alaska and Hawaii residents pay a shipping fee of $150 for DreamCloud.

For more information, read our Leesa review to help you pick the right bed for you.

Should I get a DreamCloud mattress?

DreamCloud is worth a look if you want to buy a mattress online but aren’t sold on regular foam options. Its mattresses are more expensive than other online brands, but you’re getting a thicker hybrid mattress with all the bells and whistles.

Compare mattress brands if you’re not sure that DreamCloud is the bed of your dreams.
