Doge Army Token, or DGAT, is a community-based cryptocurrency that takes inspiration from the world-leading meme-cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Although the coin takes inspiration from DOGE, the project has no direct association with the highly popular meme cryptocurrency.
According to the project’s website, the Doge Army Token was designed by “Doge fans, for Doge fans.” The project aims to help foster a community of backers of the meme asset by providing a global platform.
With the aim of rewarding all community members, 2% from all transactions are redistributed to DGAT token holders. A further 2% from each transaction is designated to a special wallet, which is then used weekly for the distribution of giveaways and rewards. A final 1% is taken from all transactions and is placed within the Doge Army Foundation wallet. Each month all proceeds are donated to a charity chosen by the community.
