DEAPCoin, or DEP, is the native cryptocurrency of DEA. DEA, or Digital Entertainment Asset, is a platform focused on combining the best features of NFTs, decentralized finance (DeFi) and gaming.
The project aims to bring a new economy that surrounds entertainment and gaming. It aims to offer users the ability to build wealth from inside the entertainment sphere. Alongside DEAPCoin, DEA’s ecosystem currently includes services known as PlayMining and the NFT Marketplace by DEP.
Within the PlayMining feature users can play games to earn DEP tokens. According to the project’s website, the feature is composed of the DEA Bank - a place to store rewards, the Digital Art Auction - a module that allows users to negotiate and trade digital assets, and the Game - a gaming platform that allows users to earn token rewards. Top games within PlayMining include JobTribes and Lucky Farmer. All elements and games are interconnected and can be utilised by all registered PlayMiners. To further enhance gameplay users can subsequently enter the NFT Marketplace by DEP to purchase in-game NFTs and accessories. DEAPcoin forms the foundation of all economic activity within the DEA platform. It is the cryptocurrency token used to facilitate all transactions and exchanges between players.
