Your deadline for ordering Valentine’s Day flowers online
Same-day flower delivery is possible on Feb. 14, but your options could be limited.
Many online flower delivery services are offering same-day delivery on Valentine’s Day if you order before a specified cutoff time. But there’s a catch: Bouquet and gift options are limited based on the delivery location.
The good news is that many companies are offering special pricing — and some even free delivery — from now until February 14. While customers in larger cities like New York, D.C. or Los Angeles will generally have a larger selection of flowers available for same-day Valentine’s Day delivery, a handful of options are available to those in rural areas as well.
Finder spoke with customer service representatives from five popular online flower companies. Here’s a breakdown of cutoff times, restrictions, special promotions and free shipping options available for V-Day:
1-800-Flowers
- Free shipping promotion on Valentine’s Day flowers from now until Feb. 14.
- Order items labeled “same-day delivery” by 2:30 p.m. ET for arrival on Valentine’s Day.
- Same-day gift options are limited based on your delivery location. Enter delivery ZIP code to view available options.
ProFlowers
- Free shipping not currently offered. Extra shipping charges may apply for holiday delivery.
- Place order by 1 p.m. ET on Feb. 14 for same-day delivery.
- Limited selection of same-day delivery bouquets for Valentine’s Day. Enter delivery ZIP code to view available options.
UrbanStems
- Free hand delivery available on Valentine’s Day for customers local to NYC and D.C.
- Otherwise, order by 2 p.m. ET on Feb. 13 for Valentine’s Day delivery.
