CRTS is the native cryptocurrency of the CRATOS app. Launched in December 2020, the CRATOS app is a vote-to-earn (V2E) mobile platform that aims to disrupt existing electoral systems, public opinion polls, and media markets.
With the help of the blockchain, CRATOS hopes to become the leading public opinion poll agency by decentralising the traditional voting system. In addition to decentralising voting, CRATOS’ long term ambition includes the sale of large decentralized voting data to corporations and organisations.
According to the project’s whitepaper, the CRATOS app allows any user to generate a vote. Once a vote is created, all other users within the ecosystem can vote for it. For both generating a vote and participating in it, users are rewarded with the native CRTS token. By incentivising honest behaviour with token rewards, CRATOS plans to disrupt the entire voting landscape. Alongside the CRATOS app, the project is developing CRATOS 3.0 which could be used to implement an electronic voting system on a national level and support future elections. To aid adoption, the CRATOS real-time voting app was developed on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchains.
Used for incentivisation, the CRTS token is rewarded to all those that participate and interact with the protocol. Rewards are gifted for completing activities such as creating elections, participating in votes, and commenting. All transactions that take place within the wider CRATOS ecosystem are also paid in CRTS.
