Cincinnati stands small in the insurance market when you weigh this company against other nationwide insurers. But it could be your best option if you’re attracted to options like a zero deductible, classic car insurance or coverage beyond the US. Despite no ability to manage claims online, consider weighing this insurer’s benefits with a few other car insurers to make sure you’re not missing out.
This small yet solid insurer is surprisingly competitive compared to the big national insurers. Consider getting a quote if you like the unique perks Cincinnati has to offer.
You’ll find the standard suite of coverage options plus some bonus perks and add-ons you won’t find with many providers, like no-deductible policies, international coverage and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. You can also get coverage for your classic or collector car with agreed value policies.
But if you’d prefer a great digital experience, you might need to look at digital-friendly insurers like Metromile, Esurance or Root. With Cincinnatti, you won’t be able to make a claim online or by app, and there’s no online chat on Cincinnati’s website. Some customers also reported claim delays and poor communication, which is a common complaint for most insurers.
