Chrono.tech is a blockchain-based protocol that aims to decentralize access to both jobs and payments. Built for “reinventing recruitment for the blockchain age” the protocol provides solutions for human resource departments, recruitment agencies, and payment processors.
The project has its own native token, TIME, and a suite of blockchain-based services tailored towards the global labour market.
According to the project’s website, Chrono.tech’s ecosystem consists of a range of HR and recruitment based products. These products include LaborX, PaymentX and TimeX. The decentralized freelancing platform, known as LaborX, gives everyone, regardless of location, a chance to earn a fair wage and removes the restrictions of cross-border payments. Meanwhile, PaymentX allows institutions to pay salaries using cryptocurrencies. Finally, TimeX is a plasma-based cryptocurrency exchange that combines the speed of centralized solutions with the security of decentralized applications. It is the prominent exchange for the native token, TIME. All of the services offered by Chrono.tech were launched over a three year period from 2019 and were designed to revolutionise access to employment and streamline the wage payment process.
TIME is the native token of the entire Chrono.tech ecosystem. It can be bought, sold, or exchanged on TimeX. The token can be used to access premium accounts within LaborX, and can be staked for rewards within the native TimeWarp application.
