How to cancel your Hulu account in 3 steps

No contract makes it easy to stop or pause your account, no matter how you signed up.

How to cancel your Hulu account

  1. Sign in. Log in to your online account with your email and password.
  2. Cancel. From your account settings, click Cancel and follow the prompts on the screen.
  3. Keep the email. File away Hulu’s email confirming your cancellation for your records.

You continue to have access to your account until the end of your current billing cycle. This method of canceling works no matter whether you’re billed directly by Hulu or third-party platforms like Sprint, Roku, iTunes and Amazon.

How to pause your Hulu account

  1. Sign in. Log in to your online account with your email and password.
  2. Pause. Locate your subscription and click Pause Your Subscription near the bottom of the section.
  3. Set duration. Pause your account for up to 12 weeks at a time.
  4. Confirm. Click Submit to record your request.

Your account and payments resume after your set duration, with the resume date becoming your new billing date. You can cancel your subscription while it’s paused at no charge.

How to cancel your Hulu account through Spotify

  1. Sign in. Log in to your Spotify account with your username and password.
  2. View account settings. Click Change Plan from the Your Plan section of your account.
  3. Cancel. Scroll to Spotify Free and click Cancel Premium to end your Hulu subscription, following the prompts on your screen.
  4. Confirm. You’ll end up on a confirmation page that tells you what date your Spotify account will change to Spotify Free.

You’ll have access to the premium features of your Spotify account until the current billing cycle ends, but your Hulu account will be gone.

How to cancel your Hulu account through Disney+?

  1. Sign in. Log in to your Disney+ account with your email and password.
  2. Billing. From your account, click Billing Details.
  3. Cancel. Cancel the Disney+ bundle that includes your Hulu account.
  4. Confirm. Click Complete Cancellation to confirm the change.

This only works if you subscribed to the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle through and are billed by Disney+. You’ll continue to have access to Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ until the end of your current billing cycle.
