You\u2019ll also get one free debit or withdrawal per month, though you\u2019ll have to pay a $5 fee any time you take money out beyond this limit.<\/p><h3>What are the benefits of the BMO Savings Builder Account?<\/h3><p>The BMO Savings Builder Account offers a decent interest rate when you make consistent payments into your savings each month as well as:<\/p><ul class=\"list-1\"><li><strong>No monthly fees.<\/strong> You won\u2019t have to pay monthly fees to keep your account active.<\/li><li><strong>Decent interest rates.<\/strong> You\u2019ll be able to earn up to 0% on your account when you put $200 per month into your savings (or 0.25% as a base rate).<\/li><li><strong>One free withdrawal per month.<\/strong> You can withdraw or transfer money out of your account once per month for free.<\/li><li><strong>No minimum deposits.<\/strong> You won\u2019t need to worry about keeping a minimum amount of money in your account to keep it active.<\/li><li><strong>Easy mobile banking.<\/strong>You\u2019ll be able to sign up for the BMO mobile banking app to manage your savings and account details on the go.<\/li><\/ul><h3>What should I look out for?<\/h3><p>Aside from the benefits, there\u2019s a handful of drawbacks that you should be aware of with this account:<\/p><ul class=\"list-3\"><li><strong>Minimum deposit for bonus rates.<\/strong> You\u2019ll have to deposit at least $200 into your savings each month to qualify for the 0% bonus rate.<\/li><li><strong>Maximum limits for bonus rate.<\/strong> You\u2019ll only earn the bonus rate on balances up to $250,000.<\/li><li><strong>Limited debits.<\/strong> You\u2019ll only get one free debit per month and after that you\u2019ll be required to pay $5 per transaction.<\/li><li><strong>Not eligible for BMO\u2019s bank plans.<\/strong> You won\u2019t be able to include this account as part of your BMO bank plan (which lets you hold 20 accounts at one
