However, you can repay your loan early if you wish via direct debit or online transfer.<\/p><h3>Is Wagepay legit?<\/h3><p>Wagepay is licensed as a payday lender in British Columbia (licence number 86410), Alberta (359836) and Ontario (licence number 4741466).<\/p><p>Its website features an office address, privacy policy and its lending licence numbers.<\/p><h3>What we like about Wagepay<\/h3><ul class=\"list-1\"><li><strong>Easy application.<\/strong> You can sign up and apply for a wage advance from Wagepay in less than five minutes.<\/li><li><strong>Fast access to funds.<\/strong> It\u2019s possible to sign up and get funded in a matter of minutes.<\/li><li><strong>Get funded 24\/7.<\/strong> Your loan amount can be distributed by Interac e-Transfer 24\/7.<\/li><li><strong>Postpone or split.<\/strong> If you\u2019re struggling to make an on-time payment, Wagepay offers a \u201cpostpone repayment\u201d feature through its app and web portal. You also have the option to split a repayment into two repayments.<\/li><li><strong>No late fees.<\/strong> Wagepay does not charge any late fees or NSF fees.<\/li><li><strong>No credit checks.<\/strong> You don\u2019t need to complete a credit check to qualify for funding, so bad credit won\u2019t stop you getting a loan.<\/li><li><strong>Licensed.<\/strong> Wagepay is licensed as a payday lender in BC, Alberta and Ontario.<\/li><\/ul><h3>What to watch out for<\/h3><ul class=\"list-12\"><li><strong>High cost of borrowing.<\/strong> Wagepay charges $14 per $100 borrowed<span class=\"table-popover\" rel=\"popover\" data-content=\"The total cost of borrowing is expressed per $100 borrowed. In provinces with payday lending regulations, the Criminal Interest Rate Regulations limit the cost of borrowing to $14 per $100 borrowed.
