We don\u2019t recommend searching for a loan with Viva Payday Loans for a few reasons:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Not a lender.<\/strong> Viva Payday Loans is a financing lead generation network, not a lender. When you provide your personal and financial information in an online application, Viva can connect you with partners in its lending network. Take note that the information you provide could be passed on to third party lenders and lead networks.<\/li><li><strong>Not actually payday loans.<\/strong> In Canada, payday loans are short-term loans of up to $1,500 that may be repaid over a term of up to 62 days. Despite the name of the business, Viva Payday Loans says it offers access to loans of up to $5,000 that can be repaid over a term of up to 6 months or more.<\/li><li><strong>Confusing terms.<\/strong> In the Terms and Conditions provided on the Viva website, it states in bold font that \u201cPayday Ventures Ltd is a broker and not a lender.\u201d But then later in the same document it states that the website operator \u201cdoes not broker loans to lenders.\u201d<\/li><li><strong>Inconsistent loan information.<\/strong> Different sections of the Viva Payday Loans website mention maximum loan terms of 24, 12 and 6 months, while the representative example on the homepage uses a 48-month loan term.<\/li><li><strong>\u201cNo refusal.\u201d<\/strong> One page on the Viva Payday Loans website mentions that you can use the platform to obtain \u201cno refusal payday loans.\u201d However, responsible lenders will need to assess your income to determine whether you can afford to repay a loan, and promising guaranteed approval can be a sign of a loan scam. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/ca\/cash-advance-apps\/no-refusal-loans-canada\">Learn more in our no refusal loans guide.<\/a><\/li><\/ul><div class=\"box\">\r\n  <h5 class=\"box-title\" id=\"financial-hardship\">\u26a0\ufe0f  Warning: Be cautious with payday loans<\/h5>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">High-cost payday loans are unsustainable for long-term use, with up to $14 charged per $100 borrowed.
