As a result, we\u2019re not signing off on the legitimacy of Cash One as a payday lender.<\/p><p>Our research into Cash One Inc. raised the following concerns:<\/p><ul><li style=\"padding-bottom: 14px;\"><strong>Not a licensed payday lender.<\/strong> Despite the fact that Cash One Inc. is registered as an Ontario business corporation, we couldn\u2019t find an active registration for Cash One Inc. when we searched the Ontario government\u2019s database of licensed payday lenders. We also couldn\u2019t find it on the list of licensed payday lenders in Nova Scotia, which is where Cash One Inc.\u2019s mailing address is located.<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 14px;\"><strong>No physical address.<\/strong> We couldn\u2019t find a physical address listed on the Cash One website. Instead, a mailing address in Nova Scotia is provided.<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 14px;\"><strong>Not BBB accredited.<\/strong> Cash One does not have Better Business Bureau accreditation and has a D+ rating from the bureau. As of March 2024, the BBB had closed eight complaints against Cash One in the previous three years.<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 14px;\"><strong>Limited reviews.<\/strong> There aren\u2019t many online customer reviews of Cash One Inc., and those that we could find were largely negative.<\/li><\/ul><h3 id=\"compare\">Legitimate alternatives to Cash One<\/h3><div class=\"box\">\r\n  <h5 class=\"box-title\" id=\"financial-hardship\">\u26a0\ufe0f  Warning: Be cautious with payday loans<\/h5>\n<span style=\"font-size: 11pt\">High-cost payday loans are unsustainable for long-term use, with up to $14 charged per $100 borrowed. If you're experiencing financial hardship, call <a href=\"https:\/\/nomoredebts.org\">Credit Counselling Society<\/a> for free financial counselling (Mon\u2013Fri, 8am\u20135pm at 1-888-527-8999).
