You can install the Disney+ app on your Apple TV and enjoy The Mandalorian, the latest Marvel flicks and classic films from Disney’s massive library.

Here’s how to set up and use Disney+ on your Apple TV.

Step 1. Check that you have a compatible Apple TV

You can install the Disney+ app on fourth- or fifth-generation Apple TV devices.

The most recent Apple TVs will support 4K content, so you can watch the Disney+ library at a higher resolution if your TV supports it. Previous generation Apple TVs support HD content, so you can still enjoy big-screen viewing.

Step 2. Download the Disney+ app

Launch the App Store on your Apple TV and search for the Disney+ app. Once you’ve found the app, click the “Install” button using your Apple TV remote.

Once the app is installed you can launch it. If you have already created a Disney+ account, you can log in and head straight to step 4.

Step 3. Create a Disney+ account

If you haven’t already set up an account, you can do so from the app. Check out our full guide if you want more information on how to set up an account.

Step 4. Log in

Once your account is set up, you can log in through the Apple TV app and start browsing Disney+’s extensive library. This includes classic and re-imagined Disney hits, Pixar animations, most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars including an upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and documentaries from National Geographic.

Once you’re logged in and have chosen your preferred viewing fare, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
