As the second half of their name might suggest, TurboFlix has one very specific streaming service it’s targeting (Can you guess what it is?). They’re all about you and your Netflix library, and making sure that you have access to just about everything that Netflix offer, anywhere in the world.

It’s an attractive offer, one that will appeal to many Canadian users. They even have a snappy, Michael Bay style trailer on their website that tells you everything you need to know about the service with a few glorious explosions thrown in for good measure.

However, you cannot watch Netflix anywhere unless you’re signed up to Netflix. So if you wanted to watch Netflix US through TurboFlix, getting TurboFlix would not be enough. You would also have to subscribe to Netflix US.

• Can I access Canadian Netflix with TurboFlix?

  You don’t need a VPN to access the Canadian version of Netflix, since we are already in Canada. But, you could still use a VPN if you wanted to protect your privacy online.
