Do I need to quarantine when I arrive in Vietnam?

Yes, all permitted Canadian travellers must undertake a minimum of 14-21 days in quarantine at a government facility – those who test positive for COVID-19 will be sent to a hospital for treatment followed by a self-isolation period. In this case, travellers from Canada will undergo five retests and must come back with at least three consecutive negative results.

Canadians should keep in mind that all costs of quarantine must be covered by the traveller or their employer.
