Is Skyscanner legitimate?
Yes. Skyscanner works direct with more than 1,200 airlines and online travel agencies. It searches each of their websites to find the prices that are available through them.
It’s important to note that Skyscanner doesn’t take flight bookings itself and pulls prices and information based on what other sites are displaying.
When you’re searching for a flight and find a price you want, you’ll notice that when you click the green “Select” button (as pictured below), you’ll see a list of the sites where Skyscanner found that price. You’ll be redirected to these sites in order to complete your booking.
Does Skyscanner include luggage in the price?
Skyscanner doesn’t show upfront whether luggage is included in the price. This information doesn’t show until you’re sent to the site where Skyscanner found the price listed.
Does Skyscanner have a multiple flights/multi-city option?
Yes. Skyscanner allows you to search for up to six legs with one search. You should still search for separate single-way tickets as well since you may find a better fare when booking separately.
Why do Skyscanner prices change?
Flight prices are dynamic and change frequently based on demand, availability and the time of year.
Some of Skyscanner’s pricing (like on its deals pages or in its emails) is based on what’s been found previously and may not be available again when you’re ready to book.
