Hi Bahrit,
Thanks for your question. The process will depend on the money transfer service you choose.
If you would like to use Western Union, you can go directly to the site from this page by clicking on the green “Go to site” button in the comparison table. Once on their website, click on the ‘Send Money’ tab and follow the instructions under ‘Sending money options’. You generally need to create an account with Western Union to proceed and an option to create an account will be available once you’re on the website.
Generally, you can send money from you bank account. Once you have followed all the steps for sending money, you will be given a number. The recipient then collects the cash from a Western Union agent, quoting this number.
Hope this has helped.

Can you tell me how to transfer money Australia to Myanmar, I’m a bit confused.
When I filled the from, do I need to write the Western Union name, address or the recipient’s details?
Hi Pot,
thanks for the question.
This will depend on how you’re sending money to Myanmar. If you’re sending it using Western Union’s Money in Minutes service or their bank account to bank account service, you’ll need to supply the recipient e.g your friend or cousin’s details.
If you’re sending it to a Western Union branch to be picked up as cash, you’ll need to fill out a send money form and select ‘cash pickup’.
Next, you’ll need to give the agent at the Western Union branch the completed form, and then give your recipient the tracking number, which they can bring to their nearest Western Union branch to pick up.
I hope this helps,
Marc.
