You can keep your PLEX on the exchange you purchased it on, or move it to a personal wallet:
- Some people like to use their own wallets to guarantee total ownership over their assets, or to use them with other applications like DeFi services.

Is PLEX a good investment?
It is good practice to review all aspects of a cryptocurrency and the associated platform before investing. Here are a few things to consider before purchasing PLEX:
- Banking: MinePlex competes in the digital banking services market, which is expected to grow to a market cap of $9 trillion by 2024. This could mean that MinePlex has plenty of market capitalisation to chase in the future. While the market will likely be there, MinePlex will still need to execute its roadmap and vision perfectly to compete.
- Competitors: MinePlex categorises itself as a CrossFi project - a term used to describe hybrid crypto and traditional finance protocols and applications. Its closest competitors appear to be platforms that offer crypto and banking-like services, such as the centralised exchange Crypto.com.
- Scalability: The MinePlex blockchain utilises the same Liquid Proof-of-Stake (LPoS) consensus algorithm as the Tezos blockchain. The LPoS mechanism allows for a transactional capacity of 40 transactions per second (tps). This is approximately 3 times faster than the Ethereum blockchain.
- Token supply: According to the whitepaper, PLEX has been designated 4 emission stages. During the first stage, each new block that is added to the MinePlex blockchain releases 600 new PLEX tokens. The emissions are then set to halve for each subsequent stage. This means that the token will likely become scarcer over time until all 415 million tokens are generated.
- CrossFi: Rather than develop another decentralised finance (DeFi) application that tries to disrupt traditional finance, MinePlex has tried to bridge traditional financial assets with digital currencies. DeFi is often seen as an unknown and is treated with caution by many. Focusing on a bridge between what is familiar and what is new could help to encourage wider user adoption of MinePlex.
Today's PLEX price versus ATH
Compare today's price of PLEX ($0.100066 USD) against its all-time-high price of $2.45 USD on 01 November 2021. The closer the bar is to 100%, the closer PLEX is to reaching its ATH again.
ATH date: November 01, 2021
PLEX ATH: $2.45
