DX3 2021 Goes Fully Online March 2-5

Canada's largest retail, marketing and technology event features 200+ Speakers, 50+ Episodes and 3 Summits with one registration.

For the first time ever, DX3, Canada’s largest retail, marketing and technology event is going fully virtual. For 4 days from March 2-5, DX3 Season 10 features more than 56 streaming episodes accessible with one easy login for registrants.

And ever current, DX3 2021 will explore what the post-pandemic future will look like with a speaker roster who will be sharing their challenges and opportunities on how to build a brand and be relevant in this incredibly competitive environment. To organize this huge scope, DX3 will serve up three 3 summits: a Retail Summit, a Marketing and Innovation Summit and for the 1st time ever, a Generational Summit.

So how will DX3 10’s online focus differ from its previous in-person incarnation?

Sneha Thayil, Content Director, DX3 says that since conference stamina is vastly different between the virtual and the physical events, they’ve spread out the conference over 4 days, with shorter durations for each day. Each day starts at 10 a.m. EST with two keynote addresses, followed by 2 hours of content, and concludes with interactive workshops.

“While in-person conferences can start with breakfast and check-in at 8 a.m., and go until a dinner/reception at 7 p.m., the same stamina just is not possible when events go virtual,” says Thayil. “The full conference will be livestreamed, and then recordings uploaded afterwards for on-demand viewership. At DX3 2021, you can look forward to all sessions being 30 minutes in length.”

Thayil says that this year, DX3 will be working with the virtual event platform Hubilo to make this a much safer event by going fully online. This resulting user experience will be really convenient for participants each day.

“Attendees can look forward to accessing all content in just one tab. No multiple links, no clicking around, just one page with all your content, and only one tab playing audio to keep track of. Use your computer, have your phone handy, a hot drink, and a notebook.”

And this year’s DX3 makes networking online easy

“When you are at the event, the smart algorithm suggests connections based on your registration information, and attendees can contact each other,” says Thayil. “You can also join community boards, live Q&A, content chatrooms, and be featured on our social media if you tag us on your own.”
