What to expect: Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals

In previous years, CheapOair has taken $40 off its fees – which are normally between $35 and $40 for flights.

This year it’s running a less impressive $15 off flights. This is for a maximum of three passengers ($5 off each).

While savings are helpful, we recommend checking for Black Friday sales with each airline directly because you may be able to find better seasonal deals elsewhere.

When can I start shopping?

CheapOair’s Black Friday sale dropped early and is running from now until 30 November. There could be others behind the corner though – including a Cyber MOnday or sneaky Tuesday deal. Look out for them daily by checking in on this page.

Flying during the COVID-19 pandemic

While the pandemic has dampened travel across the globe, airlines have heightened hygiene and safety measures – like using HEPA filters and requiring masks – to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Many airlines, including Air Canada and Porter Airlines, are offering flexible change and cancellation policies for extra peace of mind when booking.

Keep in mind the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that travel of any kind increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. Do not travel if you feel sick or have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
