AirBoss of America share dividends
Dividend payout ratio: 2.67% of net profits
Recently AirBoss of America has paid out, on average, around 2.67% of net profits as dividends. That has enabled analysts to estimate a "forward annual dividend yield" of 6.31% of the current stock value. This means that over a year, based on recent payouts (which are sadly no guarantee of future payouts), AirBoss of America shareholders could enjoy a 6.31% return on their shares, in the form of dividend payments. In AirBoss of America's case, that would currently equate to about C$0.289 per share.
While AirBoss of America's payout ratio might seem low, this can signify that AirBoss of America is investing more in its future growth.
AirBoss of America's most recent dividend payout was on 17 July 2023. The latest dividend was paid out to all shareholders who bought their shares by 29 June 2023 (the "ex-dividend date").
Have AirBoss of America's shares ever split?
AirBoss of America's shares were split on a 1:4 basis on 16 June 1998. So if you had owned 4 shares the day before before the split, the next day you'd have owned 1 share. This wouldn't directly have changed the overall worth of your AirBoss of America shares – just the quantity. However, indirectly, the new 300% higher share price could have impacted the market appetite for AirBoss of America shares which in turn could have impacted AirBoss of America's share price.
AirBoss of America share price volatility
Over the last 12 months, AirBoss of America's shares have ranged in value from as little as C$5.4685 up to C$18.8176. A popular way to gauge a stock's volatility is its "beta".
Beta is a measure of a share's volatility in relation to the market. The market (TO average) beta is 1, while AirBoss of America's is 1.9052. This would suggest that AirBoss of America's shares are more volatile than the average for this exchange and represent, relatively-speaking, a higher risk (but potentially also market-beating returns).
