Best Blue Mountain hotels with spas

After a long day on the slopes or other adventures along the Niagara Escarpment, there’s nothing quite as relaxing as dipping into a hot pool or getting a massage. While the full-service spas in Blue Mountain aren’t located in hotels (but are close!) there are hotels that offer select spa treatments in the area.

TripAdvisor’s top-rated hotel at Blue Mountain (as of time of publish), Westin Trillium House, is home to an all-seasons outdoor hot pool and offers in-room spa treatments.

Alternatively, just a few minutes down the road, Georgian Bay Hotel is home to a full-service spa on-site and offers accommodation package with treatments at other nearby spas.

iwa spa Blue Mountain, a Canadian Spa and Wellness Awards 2019 winner, can be found right in the Blue Mountain village. Just a few kilometers away sits Scandinave Spa. Neither of these popular spas have their own accommodation, but some Blue Mountain and nearby Collingwood hotels do sell packages include spa entry and/or treatments.

Best Blue Mountain cottages, cabins and lodges

If the thought of a ski resort conjures up images of cozy cottages, rustic cabins and private lodges, then you’re in luck – Blue Mountain has plenty. Most of the accommodation in Blue Mountain Village will be hotel and apartment style and is rather compact, so if you’re looking for a bit more privacy and space between neighbours you may need to stay outside of the main village. Luckily, you don’t have to go far.

Located at the top of the mountain, rather than near the village at the bottom, Retreat House is just a short walk to the top of the slopes, where you can ski down to access the lifts.

BR Vacation Homes Chalet Lodges at Blue Mountain offer up to eight bedrooms’ of accommodation, with some units being ski-in, ski-out.

There is a road running between the bottom of the ski runs and the start of Blue Mountain village, meaning none of the Blue Mountain accommodation is technically ski-in/ski-out, but it certainly is within walking distance.
