Overview

The weather in Belize falls into two primary seasons: a wet season running from June to early November and a dry season from late November to mid-April.

Belize is a popular Christmas holiday and March break destination for many North Americans so crowds are busiest and prices the highest during these peak times.

Best known for its remote islands on the world’s second largest barrier reef, Belize is a paradise for scuba divers who will find crystal clear waters and pristine reefs all year round. Thrilling land-based activities include caving, zip-lining, river tubing, soaking in waterfalls or visiting dozens of Mayan ruins throughout the small Caribbean country.
