Bomb Crypto is a popular play-to-earn crypto game that's built on the Binance Smart Chain. You have a chance at collecting NFT characters called Bomber Heroes that can help you earn Bombcrypto (BCOIN), the in-game currency. NFTs you earn can be sold to other players or used to up your game, and BCOIN can be used to buy stronger heroes. Here's what you can expect as far as gameplay, mechanics and earning potential right now.
Bomb Crypto is a play-to-earn game built on the Binance Smart Chain (BCS). Bomb Crypto was released in September 2021 and is currently among the top NFT play-to-earn games on the market. Its design and basic mechanics are based on the classic Bomberman games, giving it a nostalgic, vintage feel.
Bombcrypto (BCOIN) is its native token used to purchase Bomber Heros required to play the game, and the in-game currency can be swapped on outside crypto exchanges.
You need to have 10 BCOIN in a MetaMask wallet to get started with Bomb Crypto:
One Bomber Hero is required to start playing. Purchase more at the shop for a random drop, or browse the marketplace for rarer heroes with better stats to improve your gameplay.
When Bomb Crypto launched in 2021, the only available game mode was Treasure Hunt. Today, you can choose from three modes:
Treasure Hunt is the easiest game mode to start with, because it doesn't require active gameplay. Depending on your heroes' levels, it could take an hour or longer to clear a map on Treasure Hunt with 15 of them.
Your mission is to clear the map as quickly as possible: The more bombers you have and the better their stats, the better chance you have to clear the map and earn more BCOIN.
Earnings can be around 4 to 5 BCOIN per run or less. But earnings ultimately vary by game, and the value of BCOIN can fluctuate.
Story Mode offers the chance of dropping BCOIN when you defeat a monster or break a block. To unlock this game, you must mine a key in Treasure Hunt mode – one key allows for one run in Story Mode.
You need at least 15 heroes in your account to play, but you can choose only one hero.
You've got to be top dog to earn in Battle Mode. Each player pays an entry fee, which serves as the winner's pot. If you win, you get the loser's tokens they paid to enter the match.
You don't need a key or a specific hero to enter, but you're more likely to win with a hero that has good stats and high rarity — which means beginners with squishy heroes may want to wait to enter this mode. Losers earn nothing, so there's more risk involved because you don't get your entry fee back if you lose.
Bomb Crypto's native and utility token is called Bombcrypto (BCOIN).
You can use the token to buy new heroes, trade NFTs with other players, or exchange it on third-party exchanges. BCOIN is based on the BEP-20 protocol of the Binance Smart Chain.
BCOIN has a handful of trading pairs, such as BCOIN/BUSD, BCOIN/USDT and BCOIN/WBNB. BCOIN is available for trading on multiple exchanges including LBank, PancakeSwap and MEXC.
To get BCOIN, you'll need to get the correct cryptocurrency to exchange it, like BUSD, USDT or WBNB. You can sign up for a cryptocurrency exchange that has the crypto coin you want, buy it with fiat then swap the purchased cryptocurrency for BCOIN on an exchange with the trading pair.
It looks like BCOIN may not be available to purchase on an exchange in the US.
You can still purchase BCOIN by using a decentralized exchange (DEX) instead. decentralized exchanges are web applications that run on blockchains like Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and allow users to trade any asset directly with one another.
Decentralized exchanges (DEX) are unregulated and run using autonomous pieces of code known as smart contracts. To use a DEX you must interact with the blockchain directly, which is not recommended for novice users. Please learn about decentralized exchanges first if you're unfamiliar.
You can follow the same process when you want to sell your tokens, or come back to this page to see if they can now be traded on an exchange in the US.
If you haven't yet used your MetaMask wallet for cryptocurrency, rely on the four steps in Bomb Crypto's YouTube tutorial to get BCOIN into your wallet.
How much you earn depends on how often you play and the mode you select. With Bomb Crypto, the number and stats of the NFT Bomber Heroes you purchase dictate how well you can do within gameplay. You can also have multiple accounts.
Earning methods include:
According to Bomb Crypto's FAQ, you can claim your earnings when you've mined at least 40 BCOIN, and there's a 3% withdrawal fee. However, other players report that you can claim your earnings when you have at least 1 BCOIN.
The Bomber Heroes and Staff houses are the game's NFTs.
Bomber Heroes have six different rarities. The rarer your hero, the better stats they're likely to have, and the more successful your gameplay.
Common | 80% |
Rare | 10% |
Super Rare | 5% |
Epic | 1% |
Legend | 0.5% |
Super Legend | 0.04% |
Legend and Super Legend NFTs are hard to get but are the best of the best.
There are no hero classes, such as knight or wizard, as their appearances would suggest. However, Bomber Heroes also have stats that are randomly generated:
After using your NFT Heroes in any game mode, they need to rest and restore. How long they must rest depends on their level and the energy they expended. The better the hero, the more rest it needs before it's fully healed.
Heroes restore energy at a rate of 0.5 energy per minute. The more stamina a Bomber Hero has, the longer it takes to completely heal (1 stamina = 50 energy).
Bomber Heroes restore energy as long as they're active, but you can buy an NFT staff house that speeds up healing time by four times. You don't need a house to play, but if you're aiming to be a daily player, buying a house could be worth the money. A Tiny House costs 720 BCOIN, and a Super Villa costs 21,600 BCOIN.
Bomb Crypto limits the number of available houses to 5,000. More than 4,000 houses have been purchased at the time of writing.
You can upgrade your house to heal more NFTs too. An update slated for 2022 is expected to allow for decorations, but right now houses are just for faster healing times.
Get NFT Bomber Heroes with BCOIN, through auctions or with gameplay:
You can have up to 50 active Bomber Heroes at a time, though you're allowed up to 500 Bomber Heros total on your account. Inactive Heroes do not restore health.
You can list your Bomber Heroes for sale on the Bomb Crypto marketplace. BCOIN is the only cryptocurrency accepted in the marketplace.
You can access the marketplace to sell by going to BombCrypto.com, selecting the triple bar and clicking Marketplace. Next, connect your MetaMask wallet by selecting the orange button labeled Connect Wallet.
Prices vary, but many sellers list their heroes for around 200 BCOIN. At the time of writing, there have been 64,152 Bomber Hero sales on the marketplace in the last 30 days.

Some updates coming up for Bomb Crypto include:
Compared to other idle play-to-earn NFT games on the market, Bomb Crypto is among the cheaper ones.
You need only one hero to start playing. And unless you enter Battle Mode, modes are relatively low risk.
Getting 15 NFT heroes can run you at least $150 right now. Compare that to Axie Infinity, which costs $1,000 to $1,200 for three lower-tier NFTs.
If you enjoy idle games, Bomb Crypto could earn you passive cash. It's easy to start playing with a MetaMask wallet, and you can sell varied NFTs on the marketplace.
