A store card offered by BMW retailers, the BMW Card for Motorrad is something of a niche rewards card. You can earn 3x points for eligible purchases made at BMW centers, 1x points on everything else, and enjoy a 12 billing cycles 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers.

As far as niche credit cards go, the BMW Card for Motorrad certainly ranks among the more specialized. Your primary earning areas will be on car sales, repairs, service, leasing and accessories.

And once you’ve earned those points, your redemptions are limited to many of the same categories of BMW center services. Points are worth roughly 1 cent per point on average.

Bottom line

While there might be some BMW big spenders out there that find this card useful, the average BMW fan will likely have trouble wringing the maximum value out of this card. Though the intro APR is nice, there are other rewards cards out there with better earning potential.
