This popular meal kit service lets you choose from signature, wellness or vegetarian meal plans for two to four people. All you have to do is use the preportioned ingredients to whip up a healthy meal in a snap. Blue Apron also offers a monthly wine delivery service, as well as one-time purchases of wine, coffee, spices, kitchen tools and more from its market.
Most online reviews for Blue Apron are positive, praising the brand’s simple, affordable meal plans, quality ingredients and easy-to-use app. There are a handful of negative reviews, though, mainly regarding the company’s customer service and plastic waste.
I have personally ordered wine from Blue Apron’s market because of its great selection and affordable shipping costs. But, the wine bottles are much smaller than average — two-thirds of a standard-sized bottle — making them a little more expensive than I initially thought when placing my order.
