Compare Barclays business cards
Find a business credit card to make the most of your spending and travel.
AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard®
American Airlines is the largest North American airline, flying more passengers to more destinations worldwide than its competitors. This alone makes the card one of the better picks among other Barclays business credit cards if you need a travel business card.
But it’s not just the size of American Airlines that makes this a great card for your business. You can earn a generous signup bonus of 65,000 miles after spending $1,000 within your first 90 days, plus earn double miles on AA flights, office supplies, telecom services and car rental, and 1x on everything else. This card also comes with a variety of frequent flyer perks, including an annual 5% bonus to miles earned and a companion certificate on your account anniversary after you spend $30,000 or more on eligible purchases.
Hawaiian Airlines® Business Mastercard®
This business credit card lets travelers who often fly to Hawaii earn miles not only on Hawaiian Airlines purchases but also on gas, dining and office supplies. You’ll earn 3x on Hawaiian Airlines purchases, 2x on the latter categories and 1x on everything else. You can also earn up to a 60,000-mile signup bonus – 60,000 miles after you spend $1,000 in your first 90 days of account opening and an additional 10,000 miles after your first employee card purchase.
And these bonus miles keep coming: you can earn up to 40,000 bonus miles each year. That’s 20,000 miles after you spend between $50,000 and $99,999 on your card or 40,000 miles if you hit the $100,000 mark.
But you’re not limited to Hawaiian Airlines when it’s time to redeem your points — you can fly with its partner airlines. These are some big earnings for a travel card that costs just $99 each year, and additional employee cards come at no additional cost. Unfortunately, airline perks outside of these generous miles are fairly trim. You won’t find seat upgrades or free checked bags on this card, for example, so if you’re looking to fly with a little more style you might need to look at other luxury business travel cards.
JetBlue Business Card
If you were looking for a little more luxury in your Barclays business card, the JetBlue Business Card might be up your alley. It offers plenty of earning opportunities with 6x points on JetBlue purchases and 2x points on dining and office supplies. This card also offers a 60,000 mile signup bonus – 60,000 after you spend $1,000 in your first 90 days and an additional 10,000 after your first purchase on an employee credit card. Interestingly, this Barclays business credit card rewards you with 5,000 points annually on your card anniversary just for being in good standing with your card.
On the luxury side of things, you’ll enjoy 50% off of eligible in-flight purchases such as food and beverages. You and three companions can also enjoy a free first checked bag on flights, and after you spend $60,000 in a year you’ll be gifted a year of TrueBlue Mosaic benefits the following year. Finally, employee cards come at no additional cost.
Even with a $99 annual fee, frequent JetBlue flyers will find a lot to love with this card. But if you’re looking for bigger rewards outside of JetBlue purchases, other business credit cards can offer higher returns.
How to compare Barclays business credit cards
The three Barclays business credit cards are similar in APR and fees, so the main question is:
- Which airline do you fly most with? The Hawaiian Airlines® Business Mastercard® is great pick if you often travel between the Hawaiian islands and North America. If your go-to airline is JetBlue, the JetBlue Business Card could be a good choice. And for those who often fly with American Airlines, the AAdvantage® Aviator® Business Mastercard® could be ideal.
Why choose a Barclays business credit card?
The great thing with these cards is that you’re not limited to a single airline — you can earn and redeem miles when you fly with partner airlines. For example, you can earn and redeem AAdvantage® miles and JetBlue points with Hawaiian Airlines, and Hawaiian Miles with JetBlue Airways.
Additional perks offered by these cards include:
- Zero liability. You’re not responsible for any unauthorized charges made to your card once you report them to Barclays.
- Chip cards. Get increased security in the US and abroad and with chip cards.
- No foreign transaction fees. You won’t pay any fee on international transactions. Other cards charge up to 3% fee for each transaction.
- Mastercard® benefits. All three Barclays business credit cards work on the Mastercard network, which means you get price protection, identity theft resolution services and more.
- Barclays Mobile app. Download the app to make payments, set up alerts, to check your FICO® Score and more. You can also download individual airline mobile apps.
