Automata is a protocol founded in 2019 which aims to address the issues with privacy infrastructure for Web3 and DeFi applications. The product offers services for blockchain-native businesses attempting to provide trustless transactions, data privacy and transparency in ownership.
They describe themselves as middleware and have partnered with a number of significant players in the industry, such as Polygon and Avalanche.
Automato provides three unique frameworks for dApp privacy. Witness is focussed on private governance, allowing communities to vote and participate in the governance of a platform without revealing their voting power, identity or preference. Conveyer is a miner extractable value (MEV) solution which prevents alpha actors from influencing or even seeing transaction orders. This function can be seamlessly integrated to DEXs for lower gas fees and superior privacy on transactions. Finally, Automata offers Librarian, which is do-not-track indexing for blockchain software and applications.
Essentially, Automata allows blockchains to communicate data cross-chain without breaching user privacy. ATA is a multi-chain asset native to the Automato protocol. It runs across both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks, and can be used for governance and transaction fees.
