What is Atari?
Atari (ATRI) is the token of the famous video game company that produced classics like Asteroids and Pong. In recent years, Atari has invested heavily in blockchain and, in 2021, split its operations into Atari Gaming and Atari Chain. ATRI is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain and is meant to be used as a way to transfer value between players. Atari also says it is developing games where players can stake tokens against other users, with the winner taking all the tokens staked. At a market cap of only $44 million at the time of writing, it is one of the smaller cryptocurrencies on the market and trading volume is often very low, with the largest number of daily trades confined to smaller, lesser known exchanges. Liquidity is often low. This means it might be more difficult to sell ATRI tokens than it is to buy them.
Atari (ATRI) is the 501st largest cryptocurrency in the world by market cap, valued at $60,153,698. The current price of Atari is $0.03112875, which is 0.708% higher than yesterday. Prices have ranged between $0.03404881 and $0.03052709 over the past 24 hours. All prices are listed in US dollars and accurate as of January 24, 2022 08:01 UTC.
