Altura is an entrant in the developing blockchain-based gaming ecosystem that utilises the Binance Smart Chain network. Altura claims they are “powering the future of gaming”, and the network primarily operates as a holistic platform for the creation and transaction of digital assets for gaming.
A key project for the Altura platform is its marketplace, where users can mint and sell Smart NFTs, or purchase items for a wide variety of crypto games, including tactical RPG Prometheus and strategy game Age of Tanks.
Another component of Altura is its fair mechanism for distributing loot boxes. The developers plan to provide loot boxes, accessible via a purchasable key, that will drop unique NFT items of varying rarity, adding an extra layer of engagement for the blockchain gaming community. Additionally, Altura offers game developers access to simple-to-use APIs that lets them integrate their blockchain games and build on Altura with ease.
ALU is the native token of the Altura platform and is used as a primary medium of exchange on the marketplace, as well as a governance mechanism. Additionally, ALU holders can participate in staking pools hosted on Altura’s network to support the project’s economy.
